What is Opnetrip?
Opnetrip is an AI travel concierge that turns a short conversation into a full, day-by-day itinerary on a live map. You tell it where you want to go, how long you have, and what kind of trip you want — it handles the rest: routing, activity sequencing, rough cost estimates, and booking links.
How does the AI actually build the trip?
Our planner first interviews you to understand your goals, pace, budget, and constraints. When it has enough to work with, it generates a structured itinerary using Google's Gemini models, then places every activity on the map with a travel mode (walking, transit, driving) between stops.
How accurate are the recommendations?
The AI is good at sequencing and pairing activities, but it isn't real-time. Hours, closures, prices, and availability can drift. Always double-check anything time-sensitive (museums, tours, restaurants) before you go. Booking links open the live source so you can verify.
Can I edit a generated trip?
Yes. Every activity on a day can be regenerated. If the change only affects that single day, the edit is cheap. If it affects downstream days — like changing a base city on day 3 — the AI will regenerate the cascade.
What happens to past trips?
Past trips stay in your Trip Center forever unless you delete them. You can revisit any itinerary, clone it as a starting point for a new plan, or share the public link with friends who want to follow your route.
How do credits work?
Every new account gets 850 starter credits — a one-time welcome bonus. On top of that, free accounts get 100 daily credits that refresh every 24 hours. Generating a trip costs 50 credits; editing a day costs 10–20 depending on whether the change cascades across later days.
Is Opnetrip free?
Yes — starting is free. The starter credits plus daily refresh are enough to plan, edit, and share trips. Paid tiers (with higher daily limits and priority processing) are on the roadmap but not required to use the core product.
What data do you collect?
Account basics (username, email), the content of your trip-planning chats, the itineraries generated from them, and feedback you send us. Trips are private by default — only you can see them until you explicitly make one public.
How do I delete my account?
We don't have a one-click self-delete yet — email us at feedback@opnetrip.com from your account's registered address and we'll remove everything within a few days. This is on the roadmap.
